Mmmmmm you make it sound as if shareware is a new concept. Many well known applications started out as shareware or are still shareware. They don't seem to bother about the confusion, in fact they invented something to take the confusion away, that something is also known as a message box. "Hey your trial period is over. You still can use this software but you can't wear avs until you register". Was it that hard to implement such a feature? I guess it was. _________________ -Lisa- |

Yep, I am still totally bewildered by the logic behind it.... and the fact that no alternative has been initiated. _________________ Cheiron

First of all, this is your show. The manor is a very nice concept. However, there is one wrench in the monkey. The abilty to wear avatars anywhere in the manor village. The 30 day trial was a good chance for all people to see all the different lifestyles with the use of avatars, and for the visitor to decide whether or not they wanted to register. That option no longer applies. Now if a visitor wishes to wear avatars it is either stay on manor main or go to the adult manors to be able to wear avatars. It would have seemed more reasonable to retain the 30 day trial until you could change it to an acceptable alternative. Now there is no option what so ever. People from all walks of life come here. Young and old. There are some that want to be able to do what others can do, but can't. Of course, if all you wish to have is a chat vehicle only, that is cool. If you want people to come here, and stay, put the carrot on the stick...the sugar in the spoon. But then this your show...so be it. |

Guys guys please. I am going to setup the free reg stuff in the community pages, but crashing bugs in the beta release took priority (you know, only have 10 fingers and all that). |
