Goal was to empty out my prop folder and save them in another folder so i would have an fresh prop chest.

I have stash rooms in the manor for all avs used in the av rooms (or that i plan on putting in the av rooms) ...

I moved all the props from the props folder into a new folder i created ... opened manor and the propchest looked like new, just like i wanted it to ... however when i went back to the manor and into the stash rooms .. the avs were not there ... so i closed manor and moved the props back into the prop folder and reopened manor and back into my stash rooms and all the avs were there ..

question is ... how can i get a fresh propchest without losing the avs in my stash rooms and av rooms in the manor?

When you say you moved the props, did you duplicate the entire folder or just the prp files? If you missed the index files (idx) it could have gotten confused about which props you already have vs the ones it needed to download.
