It sure would be nice to set a flag on any prop placed in a Manor prop room. The use of stash rooms is crude and subject to inadvertent deletion by cleaning borgs. That way any Manor’s space usage re props can be managed . If this is not possible then server side executables can be written to protect the hours of prop making all owners have invested. Thanks.. _________________ RL..now with 100% less lag! |

I totally agree with Bri........ there has to be a way to eliminate the loss of props when flushing...... will be a valuable additions to the capabilities of Manor.. i will say, in regard to stash rooms, i have a no clean script i put in my stash rooms, which eliminates the inadvertant erasing of avs .. it has worked fine.. but the rooms take up space ....... |

I've actually been giving thought to having the server parse room descriptions for some information like door locations. Prop spots would be another good candidate. However, this wouldn't solve the problem for props used within a script, those would still have to be placed in a stash room.
As to stash rooms taking up space, I should point out there isn't a limit on how many props can be placed in a room. Mains stash rooms contain about 200 props each. |

Seems to me that if you do that props within a script would be safe as long as they are in a proproom. _________________ -Lisa- |

At Wycked we have the auto-borg installer’s props stored in prop room style. Since the introduction of prop rooms, I believe most owners keep public and private props. The reasons are because it is an orderly way to keep them for visitors or personal use.
It is a natural assumption, that if I create a prop and insert it in our Manor’s prop dispensers that I want to keep it. _________________ RL..now with 100% less lag! |

Surely some thought must have gone in to Prop Rooms, Prop Flushing and memory space used by Props before exploring other features that are appearing in Manor. We all know from palace experience that prop flushing can be a problem and purging should be made easier. The use of Stash Rooms is stupid, it is a duplication of work. As Bri rightly say's, if props are in a Prop Room the intention is that they should be safe and that they are wanted for a purpose. Please make Prop Flushing easier. |
