Anyone has an idea why there are 2 prop folders on the server? Both are huge: 50 and 100 Mb, I wonder which is the active one.
And will we get a proper prop purge method in the new release, we really don't like to stash all our props before purging _________________ -Lisa- |

I have not heard of this issue before. The only time a prop folder is created is during install. Maybe it was duped some how while working in your directory. Checking the modified dates of the files may help to tell a story. Let us know if you find that The Manor is making a second prop folder.
As for the prop stashing issue, no new features are schedule before the release of version 1. _________________ Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark, professionals built the Titanic. |

The issues mentioned by Lisa are compounded by a few factors.
1, It seems the install location changed back in early 2004.
2. WM has several engr testers, which has not been updated for months, re the wait for the magical version 1.
That led to prop dl errors with non engr testers and stash room confusion. ( it depends on which client is used for checking)
What we will do is, delete all props created since the format change then load std client, recheck the stash rooms, delete any folder or prop file pre mid 2004 and purge.
Hopefully the mess of 2 formats will end soon. _________________ RL..now with 100% less lag! |
