I am Wanting to Learn To Build EXE Programs nothing Big lil small stuff any idea what a good Program to start with as a learner _________________ Im Not Lost. I know im on Earth

Oh my, what language are you wanting to learn? C, C++, C#, Pascal? C and C++ are probably the most common to use to build compiled executables.
Although it is possible to build with Java as well, but it's a little more complicated.
Supposedly you can also make executables with Python, but I haven't gotten it to work right myself.
The difficulty with Java and Python is they are interpreted languages, so the EXE actually winds up being a wrapper to launch the language interpreter to run your script. |

I guess Long wants to try making a self installing borg. The borgs WM used were created with Wise installer which is a quite expensive application. I'm sure there are other installers (nulsoft which is freeware) that can do the job as well.

Well if that's the case, I highly recomend nulsoft. I use it for the Manor installs after all |

Yeah, but I hear you use the MAC equivalent of Notepad to code The Manor so I don't know if your recommendation is worth much _________________ -Lisa- |
