Error 503 (HTTP Server: Service Unavailable) Downloading prop
I know that we have reported this error sever times, and I think in each case was told Manor has nothing to do with it. Can't accept that, other programs don't have that error, and are using same servers. Or, is Manor only making one request, when maybe it should make multiple requests for the file? _________________ Frank J Palank |

Yes the 503 comes from the web server and is outside Manor's control, the other definition of this error is "temporarily overloaded", meaning the web server is swamped.
In most cases Manor does re-request the resource when this happens, the question is should Manor display this error? Or hide it until it either gets the resource or a more definitive error?
In any case I am double checking the code to make sure their isn't a case where it doesn't resubmit the request when this happens. |
