something that has been an issue/plague with manor ever since the beginning was the lack of support for sound (good sound). wav files are ok if you only use basic sounds. alas, when you get into the "music" aspect of it, wav's really suck! i'd like to see support for a good, sensible, lossless. something like the .flac codec would be an excellent choice... high quality, small size, widely supported and best of all... its open source (free licensing). that would eliminate ALL of the issues of wav (because when you compress wav's, you inherit static, muffling, and lets be honest... you get sound quality that's just horrendous). just a geeky opinion from a geeky user lol. _________________ –– Dem –– |

Your all probably going to want to throw something at me, but, I have a development Mac client that supports better sound formats amongst other things. Just having a devil of a time getting it to work for windows. |
