As some have had some confusion getting this to work, here's one tip:
If the IP address the server displays when you first run it starts with 10., 172.16., or
192.168. you are running in a NAT (Network Address Translation) environment. Meaning your DSL or Cable modem has a different address it shows the outside world vs what your machine thinks it is.
In that case DO NOT change the IP address the server is showing you. What you will need to do is find the manual for your modem and look up how to configure port forwarding. You will want to forward both 12005 and 8080 to the machine your running the server on.
Even if your modem doesn't do NAT, it could still be blocking the ports Manor needs. If your modem isn't doing NAT and people still can't connect to your server, again get out the manual for your modem and see if it has a built in firewall that would be blocking those. |
