Justed added a free format text field (About you) to the user profiles that will allow HTML.

Is fun though, see how long it takes to assemble me in my truck stop puzzle.
html is not even an option in the next version of phpbb now in beta.

I'm thinking may use ranks to distinguish trusted users. i.e. those I know that aren't going to abuse the more advanced html to do bad things.
As to phpBB, it was handy to get the community pages started, but will probably not be adopting their updates out of hand as have plans for all this going forward. |

Is that just for the profile fields or throughout the forum? I was considering upgrading when it goes into final version. |

Is the usual pattern Ami, a few eejits do exploits for their idea of fun and the rest of us lose. This is not the forum, but phpBB had to make a choice and I understand it.
Scotsman is well aware we all would love a "post" in Manor but he too has to guard us from the eejits exploits.
I expect even that BBcode will get get a hard looksee too.
Ranks based maybe on activity could work on allows, Scotsman...
