This is not a bug but it's bugging a lot of people.
Installing a borg is almost an impossible job for most users. On XP the folder where it should go is hidden. Lots of users don't even know how to unhide it. LongFang in WDD spent most of the day to help people installing their borg. I think installing a borg should be an easy job. Please change this in next releases Carl. Please, pretty please. _________________ -Lisa- |

As moving the borg to a different location opens a big can of worms (especially for multiple user machines), would a menu option to load a file into the borg solve the problem? |

I think this is a great idea and will help a great deal with helping users. Maybe to have a load and export feature in the script editor would be good idea. This could be useful for room scripts also even though there is the "Load Template " button in there. This would help alot for users to share cyborgs and room scripts.
I'm sure this can work just as nice as a menu selection but to have it with in the script editor seems to be a more natural place for it to live.
As for a menu selection, it would be neat to see a selection that would open the folder/directory with the cyborg, props folder and scripts folder in it. I find myself in there a lot for one reason or another. _________________ Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark, professionals built the Titanic. |

Ok, I don't want to interfere with the way you build The Manor, all I want is that everybody (also non computer wiz kids) are able to install a borg, it's entirely up to you how you do it (ain't I nice?).
As to Studio finding himself a lot in the folder where the cyborg, props and scripts are; well Studio, the people who go there often can find it by themselfs and the people who can't find it shouldn't need to be there in the first place.
Have fun, _________________ -Lisa- |

Guess it makes no sense for it to be easier. Sorry, my bad. _________________ Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark, professionals built the Titanic. |

Deep breath guys. If a "Load Cyborg" menu option will solve the problem, then that's probably the easiest option to implement.
As to making it easier to open the folder, yes that could be done, but, Lisa has a point. Those that know what their doing in there already know how to get there. Those that don't it may not be a good idea to make it that easy to open as they may accidentally mess something up that will take a lot of time and frustration to figure out.
And Studio, if you find your in there a lot, might I suggest this cool feature of the OS called short cuts? |

I have short cuts thank you. I guess I'll just have to take the time to show people how to do so when they ask for that type of help.
I suppose I can just tell folks that don't know how to to find the manor folder, hey you don't know how to find it well you don't belong in there. I'm sure they will like that.
To say the may mess something up is correct. To say we should make it harder for people to help them doesn't make sence. But then again guess I don't need to help them to begin with. _________________ Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark, professionals built the Titanic. |
