Just to mention again.... if it can be helpful.
odd blotch appears after you have made a thought balloon.
Here is a screenshot of me and George who both had a thought (god help it)... and as you see there are blotches at where the thought balloon started:
The blotches are indicated by red arrows. They are at where the thought balloon initiated and sticks until you either move or say something.
PS: and with risc of sounding like Cato in the Roman Senate concerning Carthago... clipped balloon bug still thrives.
