wow... is it 6 years ago we started sitting on the yahoo manorlist forum (before this website was made) yelling: "SCOTSMANNNNN.... MY PUTER BLEW UP AGAIN!!!!!" ? hehehehe

It has been a bumpy ride, but a fun one and it is the best damned second generation of Palace idea software and there is much to be proud of, and there is one guy we can thank for all this, you all know who...

So stand up and take a bow, we know you do it because you feel for it and want this type of chat to continue, without commercial stuff, without all the crap other software has.. just clean pure chat that is even very much up to individual forming and a lot of creative freedom, and without you doing all this, this would not be at all.

Congrats and thanks for the initiative and hard work, Scotsman, it is your baby and you can be proud of it, even though you can be a pain in the "neck" sometimes (as I know I can be too),...but at least you are my favourite pain in the "neck". LOL

and... maybe also... a thanks to the server providers out there is in order, who willingly provide our homes and gives tech support, you know who they are, elitepalaces, palacebox etc... when the builders make a mess or lock themselves out etc... they come to the resque in a split second. ( and I bet it is not especially economically lucrative for them either)

and lastly...maybe also an applause to my fellow owners, builders and moderators, struggling with graphics, scripts and social stuff like events and conceptual ideas to develop content and make manor interesting and fun for all, and not least, doing a big job dragging new users in and help them get their bearings.

but well maybe the most important part and the final applause should go to ... all the users out there who sticks by and refuses to give up and who makes manor live and breathe as a small but still fascinating internet community, you are the best !

The synergy of all of the above constitutes Manorverse, may it live long and prosper.

Although I was not around at the beginning of manor...I am happy to be associated with it now

From what I heard there was plenty of growing pains. I am hoping that it continues to grow without the pain.

well said che and mims. i would like to add my birthday wishes and thanks to Scots for sharing his baby with us. Thanks must also go to Gehoo and all his family. The delivery of this particular baby must have been difficult ( we saw your desk remember ) but rest assured we are grateful and appreciate it very much. You are da man Scots.
