We had a Newbie today, fresh 7.7 rev, and she could not type beyond a few characters in the chat window.
However, any paste was ok and key repeat was ok.
She was on German Win 2000 and uses Palace with no problems.
She did clear cache and reboots and reinstall … no help.

I tried duplicating this with XP and turning on the German language support to no avail. Any further information or means of duplicating this would be greatly appreciated.
